Yesterday we reported about Mitsubishi shifting their complete focus to SUVs. So they discontinued their sedan range in India. Now Mitsubishi also discontinued Outlander in India. Mitsubishi outlander is a fantastic product with Styling that stands out where ever you go with it. Interiors and features are truly class leading. But the sales of outlander never started going. The problem for Outlander is the lack of diesel engine.
In the official website Mitsubishi reports that the production of Outlander is ceased. Now the Tag line for Outlander is “ A Fashion statement moves away from the spotlight”. Last Month Mitsubishi didn’t sold a single Outlander. Now the Mitsubishi India portfolio consist of Pajero sport and Montero. Globally next generation Outlander has been unveiled. We are not sure whether it will come to India. We certainly hope that Mitsubishi will bring the 2014 Outlander with a Diesel engine.
